WCU: During his junior campaign Barr was named All-Southern Conference as well as finishing first in the 4x400m and second in the 400m.

High School: Was a 3A Florida State Qualifier and finished eighth at the State Championships... Personal-best mark of 21.73 in the 200 meters, achieved in 2001... Was the men's team captain during the 2001 season as well as the men's MVP... Was the first athlete to make it to the state competition from his high school in the 200 meters.
