WCU: In 2004 participated in the shot put (40'6), discus (120'), javelin (78'), weight (36') and hammer (138') events.
High School: Was the 2003 AAU state champion in the shotput and runner-up in the discus as well as the conference champion and MVP in both events ... Was the indoor state runner-up in the shotput in 2003 in addition to being an Adidas Outdoor National Championship Qualifier in the event... Was a conference finalist from 2000-03 and Southwest Region 4A runner-up in the shotput in 2003... Personal-best mark distance of 40-3 in the shotput and 114-6 in the discus throw.
Personal: In high school, she received the Presidential Service Award, was a National Honor Society and French Honor Society member, a four-year letter-winner in outdoor track, a three-year letter-winner in indoor track as well as tennis, an NCSHSAA Scholar Athlete, a Coca-cola Student-Athlete and a Venture Scholar... A biology major.
