2008 (Sophomore): Started all 57 games for WCU - 36 at third base before ending the season with 21 starts at second base ... Garnered Second Team All-Southern Conference accolades at second ... Hit .346 for the season with 93 hits in a WCU single-season, school-record 269 at bats ... Led the team with 58 runs scored on the year ... His 93 base hits not only ranked second in the SoCon, but were also ranked as the 10th-best, single-season in school history ... 2007 (Freshman): Was a productive member of the WCU team as a freshman...Started 59 of the 60 games in which he played...finished the year with a .335 batting average, good for 5th on the team...Started his college career with a six game hitting streak in his first six collegiate games, and continuing that streak with hits in 18 of his first 19 games...He was walked 27 times and had 11 doubles...Was named to the Chapel Hill Regional All-Tournament team, where he recorded three base hits on the weekend, including a two RBI double to help spark a four-run inning in the final game against host North Carolina...Over the summer, he teamed with future Catamount JC Lyons on the Florence Red Wolves of the Coastal Plains League...There he continued his success, starting all 47 games and batting .317 with 27 runs...In the field, he finished the year with a .921 fielding percentage, including 119 assists and 90 put outs.
